The proceeds of the 2019 Golf Charity Tournament support the work of the Ralf Rangnick Foundation.
On Saturday, 21st September 2019, the 2019 Golf Charity Tournament was held at Golfpark Weiherhof in Wadern-Nunkirchen. The tournament began at 10:30 and comprised a non-handicap-effective 18-hole round under Stableford rules.
Non-golfers could try their hand in an introduction course under the instruction of a golf teacher.
The proceeds from the golf tournament were donated to the Ralf Rangnick Foundation. This foundation aims to support children in their development towards becoming responsible, independent and active adolescents and young adults. The foundation has the vision: “Education forms the basis for a strong and sustainable society."
Reinhold Jost, Minister of Environmental Affairs and Consumer Protection in the Federal State of the Saarland, is patron of the event, which was hosted by Rita Becker-Klein and Gerard Matheis from United International Management S.A. Luxemburg.
